Page 1 of 3 NEW YORK - A bouncer already sentenced to life in prison for two Brooklyn murders has been sentenced to life for shooting another man dead and wounding three others outside a Manhattan nightclub.
Stephen Sakai was convicted Nov. 21 of murder, attempted murder and assault related to a shooting outside Chelsea' Opus 22 club in May 2006. The incident left one dead, another paralyzed from the chest down and two less seriously wounded.
Prosecutor Joan Illuzzi said Monday in Manhattan state Supreme Court that the 32-year-old Sakai "needs to be in prison for the rest of his life so society can be safe from one more random sicko."
The sentences will run consecutively. Add as favourites (28) | Quote this article on your site | Views: 496
